The electric vehicle charging tariff will be effective from the date we install the metering equipment. Your quarterly bill will consist of units consumed from your meter at the standard domestic tariff rate and units consumed at the off-peak electric vehicle charging rate.
Once the meter is installed we maintain the right to monitor your supply for fair usage and continued eligibility for the electric vehicle tariff however you are responsible to ensure that your electricity supply switches at the appropriate time by carrying out regular checks of the switching times of the meter. If you have any concerns you should contact our customer service team immediately on 687675
Domestic customers are eligible for the electric vehicle charging tariff subject to meeting the criteria. Not all customers premises may be suitable for the installation of an electric vehicle meter. This may be due to the proximity of the electric vehicle parking arrangements or the existing electricity supply to the property.
We reserve the right to revert your supply to a standard tariff should you no longer meet the criteria or fall outside the fair usage criteria
