Subsidiaries:
e-llan Communications Ltd began commercial operations in December 2007 following approval from the Isle of Man Government. The company delivers wholesale telecommunications services to the UK and beyond utilising the spare fibre capacity in the UK-IOM subsea interconnector to a wide range of e-businesses and Internet Service Providers. As part of Manx Utilities, e-llan also delivers multiple telecommunications services around the Isle of Man across its premier metropolitan fibre network. The entry of e-llan Communications Limited into the telecoms sector has greatly enhanced the fibre optic infrastructure of the Island.
Manx Cable Company Limited is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the electrical interconnector subsea cable between the Isle of Man and the UK.
