How will equipment be disposed of at its end of life?

As with any Manx Utilities’ owned and operated equipment, the windfarm will be maintained and operated to the highest standard to ensure longevity. Typically, modern wind turbine components can be refurbished to extend the life of the asset, or repurposed and sold-on to another developer for another onshore windfarm project. Subsequently, it may not be necessary to dispose of equipment. Should the windfarm be decommissioned at its end of life, all associated equipment will be safely disposed of or recycled.
