We operate and maintain:

  • 19 kilometres of steel high pressure pipelines
  • 12 pressure reduction sites across 10 different locations
  • 47 kilometres of PE (polyethylene) intermediate pressure pipelines

Natural gas can be received at up to 150bar and is delivered at pressures as low as 70mbar. Gas is provided to Pulrose Power Station and 8 other supply points for onward delivery to approximately 20,000 customers.

The peak instantaneous flow recorded to date was in January 2013 – 29,000 standard cubic metres per hour which approximates to 320 megawatts.

In a typical year we transport 110 million standard cubic metres of gas which approximates to 1.2 million megawatt hours.
