CLEANING THE WHEY SEWER MAIN AND ASSOCIATED AIR VALVES

The Manx Utilities Authority is a statutory authority providing electricity, wholesale natural gas and clean water and processes waste water on the Isle of Man. This means that Manx Utilities is a wholly owned statutory authority of the Isle of Man Government.

Manx Utilities require a experience contractor to clean and maintain the whey sewer main and associated air valves that transport effluent from the Isle of Man Creamery. The cleaning activities are critical to maintaining optimal flow, preventing blockages, ensuring proper functioning of air valves, and meeting environmental compliance obligations. The scope includes routine and detailed cleaning schedules, emergency call-out responses, and maintenance of five air valves strategically located along the pipeline.

Once you have registered your organisation you should select this tender from the list of ‘Current Tenders’ and ‘View Details’ then click ‘Express an Interest’ at the bottom of the page. Once you have expressed an interest, the ‘Form of Acknowledgement’ document will become available to complete. In order to progress to the next stage you will need to complete the ‘Form of Acknowledgement’ document before the Expression of Interest deadline detailed below.
