SPILLWAY REPAIRS CRINGLE RESERVIOR

The Manx Utilities Authority is a statutory authority providing electricity, wholesale natural gas and clean water and processes waste water on the Isle of Man. This means that Manx Utilities is a wholly owned statutory authority of the Isle of Man Government.

Manx Utilities is taking forward remedial works to the overflow spillway to the Cringle Impounding Reservoir. The scheme involves lining of the sloping portion of the current masonry spillway with a reinforced concrete lining. The works include the entire length of the spillway i.e. from the tumble bay (excluding tumble bay) up to the stilling basin (excluding the stilling basin). Included in this scheme are the provision of longitudinal and cross drainage together with drainage outside the spillway running the full length each side. The works encompass localised raising of the spillway walls at the bend in the spillway.

Please select ‘Register’ from the menu on the left side of the Home Page.

Once you have registered your organisation you should select this tender from the list of ‘Current Tenders’ and ‘View Details’ then click ‘Express an Interest’ at the bottom of the page. Once you have expressed an interest, the ‘Form of Acknowledgement’ document will become available to complete. In order to progress to the next stage you will need to complete the ‘Form of Acknowledgement’ document before the Expression of Interest deadline detailed below.
